Where's the fire?
We love building new things. So much of the web is discrete useful nodes that have no relation to each other. We want to connect the dots. We know we're not alone; we think it's great: the more the merrier.
We started with a web 2.0 feed aggregator/personal portal site called ajarr™. We knew ours wasn't the only portal out there, but we found that none of the other online feed aggregators allowed users to move feed-rendering widgets onto their own sites. We also liked the idea that a user might want to share his portal with his friends — people always ask us where we find the neat things we find on the Internet, so we thought it would be nice if we could just show them the sources we read.
There are lots of other potential fires that need to be quenched before they start. We have created an enterprise version of the ajarr™ portal because businesses have needs, too! We are interested in new media and all the ways it can now be brought to end users, and we're working on new media platforms for both businesses and consumers.
